The NutriPals Intervention
Dear Zadey,
As your Mommy, I believe I understand your need for constantly drinking NutriPals but I’m starting to regret the idea of ever having bought them for you to support your habit.
You aren’t really that great of an eater. And Mommy knew that you were going to be a difficult eater when you spent 3 weeks in the NICU you for eating issues.
NutriPals is a great supplement for you when you’re not eating the way you should or haven’t gotten what I feel you need in nutrients during the day. But I never purchased them for you with the intention that they would replace normal, nutritious meals.
I’ve finally come to the realization that you need help to break your habit and addiction to NutriPals. You can no longer stand in the kitchen, holding on to the refrigerator door screaming for them. And you will not be permitted to open the fridge door just to pick out which NutriPal you’ll drink at that moment.
Instead, Mommy will continue to try to give you super yummy food that you don’t like to eat in hopes that one day you’ll actually take a bite instead of throwing food on the floor. Mommy loves to cook chicken with a little balsamic vinegar glaze; won’t you even try it before you turn your nose up at it?
Being 2 I’m sure you find the world to be a difficult place. I mean, I cannot image all the problems your life must have not being able to climb on the couch the way you want to, and only going outside when your Mommies have their shoes on, I know these things are difficult. But let’s find something else for you to do instead of resorting to NutriPals as your way out of the daily problems of a 2 year old.
This is your NurtrPals intervention. I’m cutting you off as you need to eat, real food. Together we can break your addiction.
Love Always,
Mommy
