About

“Raise it clean it blog it” is a blog about life.  Life for a family tying to live green, frugally, but rich.  We share with you information that we discover in our daily lives and nice pictures we take here and there.

We focus on home, cleaning, eating and living green and healthy as a family.  We live in the Boston are and spend a lot of time in New York City. We love to travel, to cook (and eat), to entertain and to spice up our fashion once in while.  We also love gadgets, design and computers.

We acquired this blog from Kathy Castro and some posts before June 1, 2008 are Kathy’s.  Here is more information on her.Growing up in Bakersfield, CA I was born and raised into an LDS (Mormon) family. By the time my parent’s divorced when I was 12 they had been married for 26 years.

I’m the youngest of 6 children: Steve, McKay, Doug, Morgan, Cameron, and me. From my siblings I’m proud to be the Aunt of 7 ages 16 down to 2 years old.

At age 16, after dating my first girlfriend I came out to my family. Finally, at age 20 I met and fell in love with my partner, Joanne. Our anniversary is December 13th and each that passes I’m thrilled to have her as my partner.

In 2005, our family dreams came true when my best friend, Melissa knew of a woman who wanted to give her child up for adoption. A week later, that woman came to live with us and 4 months later, on September 18, 2005 our Zadey Jade was born.

Zadey was given her name from my best friend who’s nickname is Zadey.

My days and nights are filled with being Zadey’s Mom and I couldn’t think of anything better to do. In between my time parenting, I’m a work at Mom running several different websites my business partner, Mindy.

While I was raised in California, my new home for the last 3 years has been Las Vegas, NV. My baby was born here and I can’t think of a more perfect place to call home.

Currently, I’m running 3 blogs including this one. You can find me blogging at I’m Blogging That and 2 Girls & Organized Chaos.

I hope that you enjoy reading my adventures of being a wife and Mom. Feel free to comment and leave your URL, not only have I enabled the do follow tag but I would love to personally visit your blog as well.
