I do not like to talk about politics, so forgive me if we do not share the same ideology. During this election first I supported Governor Mike Huckabee. He is a Christian man and although I do not share his views on evolution or taxes, I like him as a person. When he was out I supported Senator Hillary Clinton.
I think Sen. Clinton could have been a good president and very different from President George Bush. Now Hillary is also out and I simply do not like Senator John McCain because he has changed already many of his opinions to please some conservative Republicans and ultra right voters. So it is clear that he will be a continuation of President George Bush. No McCain for me.
I am left with Senator Barack Obama. I do not dislike Obama; in fact I like him. I have an issue with his wife, Michelle Obama, though. I do not like people saying that they are not proud of their country, but she is not going to be the president. However, I think Hillary deserves to be the vice presidential candidate, and as many others I think if she is not the candidate I will not vote or I will vote for the Green party or the Libertarian party.
Who are you voting for? Leave a comment and let me know.

Many animation movies are directed to both kids and parents. Sometimes some of these movies are more for parents than for children. In a few instances, when the level of violence is very high, they can be for mature audiences only.
One of my friends who is very particular about what movies her kids can watch did the research about Kung-fu Panda and apparently it has been recommended by Focus on the Family as a kid-friendly and values-oriented movie (more like Shrek 2 and Shrek 3). While I may not agree with all their positions, I think they do a reasonable job of screening out movies that may have inappropriate themes for children. So my family may also watch it.

Despite the high oil prices, our car is our lifeline. We need it to get to work and do things with our children. In other words, we have to have a safe car that runs trouble-free all the time. One of the things that you can do to have a smoothly running car is to have regular oil changes and carry out preventive maintenance as per the manufacturer’s recommendation.
The question is How seriously you should follow the recommendation of the manufacturer? Of course, they know their car better than anyone else but in almost all cases, when you buy a new car from a dealer, the warranty is valid only if you have your maintenance done by an authorized dealer. This simply means that the more frequently the car owner goes for service the more money the automaker and the dealer make.
So how often should you have an oil change?
This is what my research shows. If your car is still under warranty, it is best to follow the advice in your owner’s manual, particularly if your warranty depends on oil change.
Once you do not have the warranty, there is no reason to go every 3,000 miles (forget that sticker the oil change guys place on your windshield — it is simply a trick to grab your money). If you are a reasonable driver and drive mostly on good roads, you can easily go five to seven thousand miles without any problem. This is not only good for your car, your wallet, but also for the environment. Just to be safe, make sure that you check the oil level yourself once a month yourself.
